Slow Sync Image Bank

This is an example of the technique slow sync. In this specific photography slow sync has been used to make the background, the sky and trees, blurred and the person on the bike to then be in focus. This shows the face pace movement of the person on the bike and also clarifies the direction in which he is going in. Although the background is blurred, the audience are still able to understand what kind of environment that he is in.

This is a different example of the technique slow sync.  In this specific photograph the background has been blurred slightly to emphasis the movement of the woman. The outer parts of the women is also slightly blurred showing her side to side movement. However the woman's face and middle section of her body is focused which is achieving the full effect of the slow sync technique.

In this example of slow sync, it is showing the movement of the man spinning around in a circle. This can be seen by a blurred circle being created around the man showing the spinning motion. However the man himself is in focus which is achieving the slow sync effect successful and part of the image is blurred and the main focal point is in focus. The man is placed in the centre of the composition making it even clearer that he is the man focus of the photograph opposed to the blurred background.

In this example of slow sync, it is showing the movement of the bus going past the model as she leans against the tree. Due to the model being in focus and the bus being blurred, it almost portrays her to be in deep thought and that she is in her own world where she oblivious of everything around her including the bus going past. Dark lighting is used though out the photograph as it appear to night time however direct light has been applied on the model to ensure she is the main focus and to ensure that she stands out from the blurred background.

In this example of the technique slow sync, it is showing the movement of a playing card being moved across the composition. Compared to the other examples of slow sync, which have a location background, this one has been taken in a studio against a black background which means a white blur has been created to show the movement of the playing card. The ending position of the card, which is in the bottom section of the composition, is in focus including the hand which is holding the card.

In this last example of the technique slow sync, the boy can be seen in the centre of the composition  and is in focus. However the background is blurred which shows the movement of things around him rather than him, which is what can be seen in the other example of slow sync. The outer sections of the boy are slightly blurred which shows he is part of the composition opposed to being edited into the blurred background.
